“Lasso has been critical for the success of HBCD. Lasso has facilitated the tracking of collection devices, processing, aliquots, storage, and shipping across sites. The web-based interface enables individual sites to easily and carefully register, track, and ship samples. As the chair of the HBCD Biospecimens Working Group, I can easily log in and see what samples have been collected at each site, independently and collectively, in real time.

Having worked on multiple other collaborative projects that collect and share data, working with Lasso has streamlined the implementation of a unified protocol and facilitated its oversight and tracking.
