What our collaborators are saying
“Lasso has been instrumental in getting our complicated, multi-site study off the ground. They’ve streamlined our workflows, made data entry more replicable across sites, and standardized our procedures.
Lasso’s team understands science, biology, and study procedurals. We appreciate how the Lasso team quickly grasped our goals and considerations, and proposed functional solutions. They have that down to a science. Lasso’s platform and service brings data management up to the high standard necessary for a large-scale, multi-site study.”

“Lasso's platform is uniquely suited to handle multiple data types, including MRI, biosample, EEG, wearable, and behavioral data. This is a crucial factor for our study as it will allow for seamless integration of data from multiple sources, ensuring that data are harmonized and easily accessible.
Lasso’s ability to handle complex data queries and analyses is a unique quality not found elsewhere. Lasso’s leadership team has been integral in designing and coding the workflows used in the HBCD Main Study, giving them an intimate knowledge of these workflows that would not be found in other companies. This ensures that there is consistency in the data management approach across all studies, allowing for easier integration of data across studies.”

“Lasso has been critical for the success of HBCD. Lasso has facilitated the tracking of collection devices, processing, aliquots, storage, and shipping across sites. The web-based interface enables individual sites to easily and carefully register, track, and ship samples. As the chair of the HBCD Biospecimens Working Group, I can easily log in and see what samples have been collected at each site, independently and collectively, in real time.
Having worked on multiple other collaborative projects that collect and share data, working with Lasso has streamlined the implementation of a unified protocol and facilitated its oversight and tracking. You have listened and adapted Lasso tools to facilitate our project and troubleshoot problems with us as they arose. This collaborative back-and-forth relationship combined with Lasso’s technical know-how, scientific familiarity, and clear and direct communication has allowed the HBCD study to flourish."

“I have been very impressed with how quickly and responsive Lasso’s team is to feedback on the data base. You clearly take the time to understand our process and protocols and have helped develop methods to improve the tracking of the collection, storage, and shipping of biological samples. Lasso is far superior to other systems that I have used to track biological samples including REDCap and Excel spreadsheets. The ability to monitor the process in real time is crucial for optimization.”
